Camcorder Guerillas’ Week-end
This is to thank you for your participation in the Camcorder Guerillas’ Week-end in Glasgow on 7 - 9 March. The feedback from everyone was really positive, with lots of suggestions for future events and training, so we are meeting again early next week to plan the next steps.
We are also looking into creating a couple of media teams to cover The Really Big Blockade at Faslane on Tuesday 22 April and will keep you posted, so you can have an opportunity to put your new skills into practice. Journalists, photographers, film-makers, radio and internet gurus will be needed!
In the meantime, film dates for your diary: Carlo Giuliano: A Boy a feature documentary about the protester killed by police at the Genoa Summit is showing on the following dates:
Tuesday 8 April, Edinburgh Filmhouse, 6pm
Sunday 13 April, Glasgow Film Theatre, 7pm
Indymedia Scotland will be hosting a discussion after both screenings so bring along all your friends and spread the word.
