Subversives' Sunday Social (Glasgow)

13/07/2008 - 18:00

Now a regular event. Second Sunday of the month.

Upstairs at the Junction Bar, George St (near Queen Station)

Music, food, films and a friendly introduction to campaigns in Glasgow.

  • Think that the most productive part of meetings is the informal chat afterwards?
  • Want to get involved in making Glasgow better but don't know where to start?
  • Got a project you need help with?
  • Or just nothing to do on a Sunday now the football season's finished?

Then join us this Sunday for an informal get-together with fellow subversives. We're planning to show films, play music and have speakers introduce some of the projects they're involved in. Leave dogma at the door, and let's discuss what we can do.

More details later...

Re: Subversives' Sunday Social (Glasgow)

would like to come down to this, but live at the peace camp. Travel on a sunday is incredably bad, buses only once every two hours to\from camp. Is there anywhere for peace campers to crash, or maybe a change of day, or is it Glasgow City residents only? cheers

Re: Subversives' Sunday Social (Glasgow)

I'm sure would be no problem organising a place to crash for a night. Have some semi/ex faslane peace campers going along on Sunday as it is. Emailing glasgow-anarchists@lists.riseup.net would be best way to organise it, but even just turning up on the day will get something sorted out.
