Blockade of Raytheon Systems Ltd, Glenrothes

5 people have blocked the main gate to arms-manufacturers this morning, shutting it for 5 hours so far.

The group, who are not affiliated with any organisation have stated they are opposing RSL's "destructive pursuit of corporate self-interest" and showing solidarity to the Raytheon 9.

RSL is the uk subsidiary of of the US company raytheon, one of the largest arms-manufactorers in the world. A spokesperson said- "AS such. RSL has its fingers in many pies including being at the frontline of enabling the US's "Star Wars" programme. more to follow…

police just arrested bystanders using section 13, people refused to give their details as they were only standing on a public pavement near the protest...

A shout out to our friends in balmy Scotland and Derry! Thanks for being there! We vigil monthly at Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, where they make many of their deadliest - not our proudest local export, but certainly our largest!
