15th March anti-Scientology raid photos

Some photos of the most recent anti-Scientology 'raid'

I missed this protest because of the anti-war demo in Glasgow. It would be great if someone who attended could write a report!

The demo was o.k, but considering there were dozens of people masked up and at one point there was only 1 copper standing guard outside im dissapointed the place didnt get trashed.whats the point of gathering en mass with faces coverd and not breaking stuff?

Re: 15th March anti-Scientology raid photos

The CoS films people at these demos, and have intimidated and murdered their opponents in the past, so i think this is one good reason.

Also the masking up is part of the ideology and culture of what they call 'anonymous'

They are organising online, and then having a protest IRL. I think it is fucking great. I will go to the next one.

Regarding Dave's comment, that's really not what the protests are about. This isn't revolutionary "smash the system" stuff, this is about warning the public away from a dangerous cult. If we start trouble with them it plays right into their hands, they play the religious biggotry card and the hammer lands hard. As Makhno said, the masks are about hiding our identitiy from Scis, not police. It has the added bonus of being pretty damn eye-catching.

The real beauty of it is anarchy in practice. Completely without leaders or authorities, these worldwide protests are arranged through general consensus via the medium of the internet.
